The difference between "AI doesn't work for us" and "we save hours" is almost always the instruction. Generic prompts give generic text; good prompts give context, role and form. Twelve that prove themselves daily:

Sales

1. "Write a draft quote for [client] based on this service and this budget; tone: business-warm; end with the next step." 2. "Write a follow-up on this 5-day-old quote; reference one concrete element from it; 90 words max." 3. "Summarise this call in 5 bullets + 1 proposed next meeting."

Projects

4. "Write a client status update based on these tasks; start with what is done." 5. "Turn these meeting notes into a task list with owner and deadline." 6. "Rewrite this technical explanation for a non-technical client."

Marketing

7. "Write 3 subject lines for this newsletter, each with a different psychological hook." 8. "Turn this case study into a LinkedIn post in our brand voice." 9. "Write a nurture e-mail around this insight; no sales language until the last sentence."

Finance & internal

10. "Write a friendly payment reminder, invoice [no], 10 days late." 11. "Summarise this week for the Monday stand-up." 12. "Check this quote for missing assumptions and risks."

In The Agency CRM these instructions live as skills in the AI workspace — with your real client and project data as context, which makes every prompt twice as good.
